This week, those of us in the northern hemisphere are experiencing long nights of dark as we prepare to welcome in the light with the Solstice.

This week is a poignant, potent and energetic time where we celebrate the past, present and future. As you wind down for this potent time with your closest loved ones, remember that you can choose who you invest your time in. Spend time with those that you love and trust the most.

Re-valuing your powerful investments and co creators

What potent partnerships and investments need to be reviewed?

Venus is now officially in reverse.

Venus Retrograde asks us to realign our values, our connections, and our money. In Capricorn, she’ll make us go back and look at the values, people, and resources we need to build out our goals. Reflect and then go forth.

We get Venus Retrogrades about every 19 months. The last time we hit this style of reversal was in May – July 2020. This time she travels backwards until January 29, 2022.

As a personal planet, we intimately feel, similar to Mercury Rx, her effects – but thankfully with less tech glitches.

When she entered the shadow zone in mid November, what did you notice that needs to be rebuilt in your values, which extends to how you add value, your connections (even though you just rethought this through during the last Mercury Rx) and your money situation.

Your values and relationship ideals are magnified. You see what needs to be reconsidered so now it’s time to dismantle where your partnership and investment powers are not balanced.

Over the next 5 weeks reveal any hidden truths or secrets in your unbalanced partnerships or investments so you can transform it all into something much more potent.

Look at the area in your chart that contains Capricorn 11° – Capricorn 26°, as this is the area that Venus will highlight in your business. If you have natal planets or angles in this area of your chart, they will chime in to express their worth.

Venus goes Retrograde on December 19 and moves direct on January 29, 2022.

What reflections will create deeper understandings of 2021?

When the Sun enters the Cardinal sign of Capricorn, we welcome in Solstice. In the Northern Hemisphere, we welcome the return of sunlight, and in the Southern Hemisphere, we welcome in the dark. This seasonal initiation is potent regardless of which hemisphere you reside. For all of us, as the Sun t crosses the 0° Cardinal threshold, it marks a place of extremes. The ancients would patiently wait for this day to celebrate the Sun ending the season of dark nights.

In your business, for Solstice 2021 make it a time of reflection. Yes, there is lots to do with preparing for the holidays, but I urge you to carve out some quiet time with a candle and cozy space to ground.

Spend time in your own body feeling into your bones, feeling your feet extending into the earth. Feeling your own sense of self-responsibility that you have built in 2021..

On the day of the Solstice, the Moon in Cancer, Mars, and Chiron want you to reflect on how you can make peace with past hurts, whether directly in your business or in your personal life. These are impacting how you make decisions and take actions in your business. Time to recognize the gifts that have come from those past hurts.

Venus Retrograde and Pluto are still cozying up this Solstice and want you to reflect on all your impactful relationships in your life and business. Those relationships that empowered each other, that felt truthful and safe.

Lastly, Saturn square Uranus, which has been in effect all year, wants you to reflect on how sustainable of a life and business have you created? Have you been resting as much as you’ve been working?

Innovating sustainability

What outdated social and systemic structures in your business are you now dismantling?

The signature that defines all of 2021 has the third exact square off today. When Saturn and Uranus meet, it is about evolving systems and structures that hold society together.

When they square off like today, there is an inner understanding and collective psychological breakthrough that leads to system disruption.

And with the big work that we as humanity are facing, this is a three step process where we are at the third step.

Back in February, on a collective level we noticed how broken our society really is. On a personal level, you saw how what you have built is not sustainable or equitable.

In June, you saw what exactly needs integration and repair in your life and business. Maybe you didn’t yet have the answers, but you had a direction in which we started to clear the path.

Now, we start step three, where we will act on what we need to rebuild to create a just and equitable social structure. And personally, you will have the clarity to what you need to create your just and sustainable business.

What have you discovered about your business and how to make it more equitable and socially sound?

What have you learned about the outdated cultural systems that you need to break free from?

If those questions feel too out there for you, come back to your day-to-day.

Are you resting as much as you work? (To overwork is an outdated systemic fallacy)

Are you speaking up when you need to? (To stay silent is a systemic tool to oppress)

Are you still using high-pressure marketing tactics? (Yep, another capitalist system masked as just doing business)

It’s time to break free.

Collectively, we can look at all the social issues that still need just solutions or the environment that is on the brink unless we each do our part. In our businesses, we can feel this as the need to simplify. To focus on the things that will make the biggest impact and to work in a way that feels sustainable. We are all past the need to hustle. And in 2021 we get to choose how we repair the system, integrate the things we need to evolve and keep and say goodbye to the outdated.
