I’m so sorry I missed an email to you on Super Funday Sunday.
I fell off the horse of consistency because quite honestly, emotions have been swinging quickly and high and I just couldn’t bring myself to write a coherent message.
The news of the mass murder in New Zealand really took me for a loop, I’m so sad, mad, and shocked by the terrorist actions agains a group of people in their place of worship. Not to mention the headlines I read about 88 lbs of plastic in a whale carcass, the never ending stories of unarmed black men being shot in the back, and the shit show that is the 45th.
It’s enough to make anyone stop in their tracks.
AND as my act of resistance and rebellion, it’s enough for me to re-establish my mission to bring balance back into the workforce by enabling women business owners to rise up to the occasion and reclaim their power and profit (more on that below)!
So let’s talk about this…
Last week I spoke to DOZENS of women business owners which both lifted and inspired me, hearing of all the business dreams, roadblocks and dispensing thousands of dollars of brand and business strategy as gifts to those bold women who took the courage to accept my 30-min brand strategy call.
And for those I thought might be a good fit for my Crystallize program, I invited them to my upcoming spring round that starts next week.
My goal was to talk to at least 20 women business owners with the intention of inviting 10 and having 4 enthusiastic sign ups.
While there were wins, in terms of meeting 20+ women business owners that became raving new fans, ideas and action plans generated for them to move forward, and data points for me to fine tune my offerings… my hopes of filling the spots for Crystallize for this round, well in advance of the start date, have honestly failed to launch.
I’m sharing this with you to show you that business is not fucking easy. Putting yourself out there consistently is sometimes like pulling teeth. And even if you do it well and provide TONS of value, sometimes what you get in return doesn’t meet your intention.
And when all I want to do is throw in the towel, what it instead means is that I need to accept the learning lessons, figure out what didn’t work, and come up with plan B, C and D. Keep moving forward. Keep the faith that there will be more than just 2 women this round. And keep fine tuning.
The only failure here is if I throw in the towel.
So back to current events and why it’s more important than ever for women to live our soul purpose and profit from our work….Even when things don’t go all your way.
Many of the headlines of current events can be boiled down to toxic patriarchy. Toxic patriarchy is that of which a small minority controls the vast power, resources and thought tank (what we’re supposed to think) of what is self-serving to that small minority at the cost of everyone else.
There has never been a better time for all voices to be heard. Social media, love it or hate it, has given more people access to being heard.
Even when things aren’t going our way…
- We MUST OUTWEIGH the garbage that is being spewed by male-dominated white supremacy and spread the love and light that I know all of you have!
- We need to promote our work for the betterment of those we serve.
- We need our voices of diversity to be heard loud and clearly.
- We need to spread messages of love and inclusivity.
- Of healing and faith
- Of creation and wisdom
- Of feminism and soft power.
- All of these things I know YOU are creating.
The world needs YOU to take action and move your business forward.
The world needs YOUR power. YOUR drive.
The world needs YOU to face your fears and work through them.
To get up and keep going.
I’m doing it, and I’m not better than you.
I’m guessing that the only difference between me and you is that I have faith that it will work out.
Hence I keep showing up.
Keep doing the work and keep getting help.
I don’t do it alone. I get help, from my business coach, from my husband, from my right-hand-man Jeff, from my digital marketing guide Liana, from my accountability group of peers, from my current and past members of Crystallize…
So I ask you, are you doing your part? Who is helping you along your path, none of us go it alone.

We MUST restore balance and love in this crazy world.
And that means you embodying fully your power and sharing your talents with the world so you can make impact and profit!
